I Walk On My Own

I Walk On My Own. A song from Sona Siepakova’s Positive Songbook.

The Positive Songbook contains cheerfulhealing songs for adults as well as children. Singing simple, positive songs will not only lift you up quite quickly, but it might also help you restore your inner peace, health and harmony on all levels in a playful way – using your breath, voice, focus (plus the song’s intention). Moreover, the Positive Songbook contains chords and sheet music (suitable for beginners)

May you find peace and enlightenment. May you be happy, deeply content. Your actions caused me pain, I felt hurt. Today I’m becoming someone new.

Well, I only wish you all the best. My wounds are healed by forgiveness. I stop pretending that I’m weak, you strong. Loving independence is my goal.

I wish you’re successful, satisfied. May you receive love from those around. I declare that you’re completely free. You no longer must belong to me.

I’m rising, leaving to find my peace. Each of us can now do as we please. Broken are chains which have kept us bound. Colour’s coming where’s been black and white.

My soul’s my guide. I walk on my own. Wherever I am there is love and home.

I Walk On My Own from Positive Songbook

What inspired me to write this poem / song?

In one book (I cannot remember its name and author now), I found this prayer which American Indians used to say towards their opponents to balance their relationship. And Jan Cindler, who taught me how to work with healing energy, often told me that whenever I have troubles with an enemy, the best solution is to send him love, light and energy. Because as soon as he feels better, he might become kinder or less aggressive. Theoretically, we might even reach a sort of agreement.
